Functional Job Analysis is the process of evaluating and empirically measuring the critical functional demands of the job. The FJA involves analyzing the worker, the work, and the work site. With the assistance of a worker who performs the job, the FJA objectively quantifies, measures, and categorizes the active components of the job, including the required movements, functions, forces, actions, and postures.
