Our Team

Megan is from Frederick, SD. She graduated from Frederick Area High School and advanced to Lake Area Technical Institute to complete her Associate’s Degree (A.A.S) for Physical Therapist Assistant. Megan has been working as a PTA for 4 years. She currently works at our Hartford, SD outpatient location. Previously when she started with Prairie Rehab, we worked in  Worthington, MN (working in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), outpatient (OP), and home health.  Megan’s has a high interest in  Sports Rehabilitation and Orthopedics.

Megan enjoys her profession due to having the ability to help implement exercise and other techniques to reduce a person’s pain, improve flexibility, improve strength, and improve overall capabilities for them to live their lives to the fullest. Megan enjoys helping people in all aspects of their lives with the goal of returning the patient to their highest level of functioning prior or post injury/surgery. Forming lifelong friendships with patients during their recovery is a bonus!

Megan is currently living in the Tea, SD area with her boyfriend and dog (SCOUT). She is active and has a drive to be outdoors. You can find Megan and her boyfriend at the movies, playing various sports, dog park with SCOUT, spending time with family and friends, or baking in the kitchen.
