Joe has been a therapist with Prairie Rehabilitation since 2011, and he is the clinic lead at our Sioux Falls West clinic. In 2004, he received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of South Dakota (USD). Joe continued his education at USD and received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Joe’s interest in physical therapy peaked early on as he dealt with several significant injuries while in high school that required physical therapy intervention. Joe utilizes a combination of manual therapy interventions, neuromuscular reeducation, strengthening and stretching programs, Functional Dry Needling, and education to ensure patients have the tools they need to succeed in their recovery. He has experience in treating wide variety of Orthopedic issues. Joe gets great satisfaction from seeing his patients through their entire rehabilitation process and meeting their desired goals. According to Joe, “I enjoy seeing the impact we as therapists have on our client’s life. Joe also has a passion for being a clinical instructor for future Physical Therapists to facilitate the growth of the profession.
Joe enjoys all types of sports, is a big movie buff, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
