Charlie graduated from the University of North Dakota with a Physical Therapy degree in 1981. He has been a Physical Therapist for 40 years and has practiced mostly in small, rural areas with the promise to provide the best care possible in some of the most underserved areas of the country.

Charlie is highly interested in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation of the spine. He has significant experience in working with complex problems of muscular imbalances and decreased motor control that produce dysfunctional movement patterns of the trunk and extremities. He has completed extensive training in the treatment of the cervical and lumbar spine. He has also been trained in complex neurological rehabilitation of strokes and brain injuries. He finds that the combination of the orthopedic and neurological techniques allows for the best understanding of joint and spinal pain. He has extensive experience in geriatric rehabilitation in the clinic, home setting and has extensive experience in the management of outpatient clinics, home care therapy and skilled nursing therapy programs.

Charlie has been married to his spouse, Kari, for 38 years and has lived in the Midwest his entire life. Charlie and his wife share three sons together and enjoys traveling with his wife to visit their sons.

Charlie likes to stay physically active, and hiking has become his passion over the last 5 years. He is an avid gardener and will plant flowers wherever he goes. His enjoyment of landscaping has pushed him to become a bit of a flower expert. He also enjoys reading, especially history and religious books, and he enjoys a good-spirted discussion with his friends. He is an active member within his church community and leads a men’s bible study group at his church.
