
Brooke Konechne, OTR/L
(Occupational Therapist)
Brooke grew up and graduated high school in Winner SD. She then attended Black Hills State University to complete her Bachelor of Science degree. After BHSU, she attended graduate school at Gannon University in Ruskin, FL, where in 2020 she earned her doctorate degree in occupational therapy. She joined the Prairie Rehabilitation team in 2021 and currently serves as the primary occupational therapist at the Hartford and Marion Road locations.
Brooke has a strong interest in Orthopedic and Upper Extremity injuries. She enjoys working with all patient populations and has experience with outpatient orthopedics, skilled nursing, and pediatrics. Brooke’s favorite part of her job is the opportunity to get to know each of her patients and collaborate with them to design an individualized treatment plan so they are able to get back to doing things that are most important to them.
Outside of work, Brooke enjoys traveling with her husband, Dylan, reading, walking, watching sports, and spending time with her family and friends.
