Nicole Severson, PTA
(Physical Therapist Assistant)
Nicole currently lives in Brandon, SD with her Husband, 2 boys and they are expecting a little girl in December. She grew up originally in Marshall, MN and graduated from Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, SD with an Associate’s degree for Physical Therapist Assistant. She began working for Prairie Rehabilitation in Slayton, MN and travelled between surrounding nursing homes. Then two years later moved to Brandon, SD where she began treating patients at our Brandon Outpatient clinic. She has been a physical therapist assistant with Prairie Rehabilitation since 2009.
Nicole is experienced in orthopedic and neurological rehab. She enjoys helping and treating patients who are post-surgical and providing therapy services to improve balance, functional mobility, and people experiencing chronic pain. She is certified in manual therapy ASTYM and working with BFR. Her goal is to make a positive impact on her patients’ lives and enjoys helping them achieve their own personal goals. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her husband, two sons, and their German Shepherd. She loves to watch movies, being outdoors and just being with her kids.
