Our Team

Gina was born and raised in the small farming community of Little Rock, IA, where she learned the importance of taking care of one’s community members and having strong work ethics.  She received her Master’s degree from the University of South Dakota. She has worked in a variety of settings from pediatric to adult and has been a Speech Pathologist with Prairie Rehabilitation since 1995. She currently treats patients in Outpatient, Home Health Care, and Skilled Nursing Facilities and is comfortable working with a diverse patient population.

Locations

Gina is passionate about building relationships with her patients and helping them to achieve their highest level of independence, working with them and caregivers on their individualized goals. She believes that educating her patients, family members, and caregivers is a vital component of their treatment. Advocating for those with communication disorders is also a passion of hers, especially those with dementia.  Gina is currently on the Board of Directors for the South Dakota Alzheimer’s Association and helps plan the Sioux Falls area “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” each year.

Outside of work, Gina enjoys spending time with her family at the lake, reading with her fur babies by her side, or taking trips with her husband. She is also an active member of her church and her community.
