What is LSVT Big?
LSVT Big is an exercise treatment program for people with Parkinson’s disease (PD). It is a research-based exercise approach developed from principles of the effective Parkinson’s specific speech treatment of LSVT Loud. Research on LSVT Big has documented improved ratings on tests of motor functioning in people with PD following treatment.
What does the treatment consist of?
- 16 sessions: 4 consecutive days per week for 4 weeks
- Individual 1-hour sessions
- Daily homework practice
- Daily carryover exercises

We will help you “re-calibrate” to recognize when your movements are smaller or slower than you think.
